is there a software that can create virtual linux environment in windows system?
..since I can't use linux directly in my vaio E series laptop I intend to use such softwares so help me find out :)

VirtualBox is pretty easy for a beginner.
Download a Linux ISO file and download VirtualBox (they're both free!)

another option could be minsys (minimal system )
if you just want some simple linux apps . yes virtual box could be best method . but linux .iso could be very large . you could try dsl linux

You could use virtualbox or vmware, these softwares work on virtualization of operative systems. There is more of them but those are what I use.
