How do the elite keep the soldiers brainwashed while at war?

I mean it must be so much harder than brainwashing the people at home. These soldiers are seeing the war first hand it must be at least somewhat obvious that they are the terrorists, yet the soldiers keep fighting, obviously their is something in all branches of the military that manages to convince the soldiers they are in it for the greater good

Well sometimes it's not the elites. The society raises us to believe that joining the army is the bravest, noblest thing you can do. So in a sense they're already brainwashed to a degree BEFORE they enter the military. Than once they start training they're taught to follow orders and believe that all orders are correct. It's all they know how to do. But I wouldn't call it brainwashing... It sounds to cynical. Some people already join the army feeling as though its honestly the most they can do to help their community. Maybe upbringing is a better word for it. It's not ALL the military leaders. Some of the leaders, too, are simply good people trying to help their community in the way they think is right

Our Military are not terrorists and we fight because it is the right thing to do, ask the millions who now have a better life because the USA Military stood up for them. We also like to shoot people so be very careful where you travel to.
