Need driving help someone please help?

I would like to just start up my car and go. But no I get lost very often im not sure why this happens do I need to read maps more although I never see anyone reading maps they just start up and go they just know where there going. Should I go on an adventure and just get lost and try to find my way back. I have problems with going to more than one place like the mall and then going across town to the zoo. If anyone has any tips it would be appreciated.

Now that you have a license and car. Take your map a paper one is better for this. Go someplace now find it on a map.

Drive down the road turn left at the stop sign turn Right . WHERE ARE YOU? Look on your map.

Carry on turn left maybe right. NOW Where are you? Look on your map.

You must be hungry find a place to get something to drink or eat. WHERE ARE YOU? Look on your map

Now go find the places you usually go. Where are they? Look on your map.

How do you get there now? You did it before you know the way. Just now you can take different ways.

    Repetition and practise.

Soon you will forget the street names and you turn at the stop sign

go two traffic lights turn left at the big yellow house go around the bend up the small hill and it is on the right. The mall is over there two lefts one traffic light over the bridge and turn left.

    Its called landmarking.

Do not look at the map while driving. LOOK AT THE ROAD if you miss your turn. Take the next one

and either come back or take another route to your destination.
