I can't open Microsoft Home And Student Office 2010?

I am running Windows XP and I have Microsoft Home and Student Office 2010. I had uninstalled it a while ago, but I recently reinstalled it. Now I can't get it to open and I get a message saying Patch Package can't be opened, please verify that it exists. I have tried to fix this by downloading the Microsoft Fixit program, but there is nothing on there that addresses my problem. Can anyone out there help me? Thanks.

Update:

Thanks, Dell, but when I click Change the screen flickers and nothing happens.

    Hi babbie,

Try to repair the MS Office 2010 installation from control panel and see if it helps.

In Control Panel > Click Add or Remove Programs > Change or Remove Programs > Click Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 > click Change.

Once the repair is done, restart your computer and see if it helps. If the issue persists, you may try to uninstall MS Office from control panel and re-install it.

For installation of MS Office 2010, you may use the same installation media. In case you do not have it handy, you may download it from link: http://bit.ly/15GB9WP

Enter the product key and follow the prompts on screen.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks and Regards,

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awJLx

Since its not a trail version have you tried just restating your computer or making sure you have installed the newest updates for microsoft. If that doesn't work try contacting the company you got the computer from if you paid for something you want it to work.
