What laptop should I get for college?
So college is coming up this fall and I'm in need of a laptop. The only one I've seriously looked into getting is a Macbook. Yeah, they're really nice and all, but they're so expensive. I just need a laptop that's durable and gets the job done- idk if it's flashy, as long as it'll last a long time and won't freeze up on me it'll work. I'm a communications major, so I don't exactly need anything special about it. Anyone got any suggestions? Should I get the Macbook? HELP ME!!!

Macbooks are really good but they are expensive ones. So if you don't want to get an expensive one than there are other options as well. Those are from different brands with different price range. See the list here for best selling laptops, those on the top of the list are normally good offers:

A laptop of Toshiba among them is really good. It has everything for performing different tasks with really affordable price of under $650. Its features include:
AMD A-Series Quad-Core A10-4600M, 2.30 GHz and up to Max Turbo Speed of 3.20 GHz for efficient working of different tasks.
It has 8 GB DIMM RAM which is strong short term memory for multitasking.
Huge storage with 1 TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive
15.6-Inch Screen with AMD Radeon HD 7660G Graphics
And it has Windows 8. So it really good in an affordable price and current going really well in the market. For further details there's a very good user review here, from an owner of this laptop. It should help your decision:
