I need some useful tips in business?

I am looking to make some money not just by working but by home. And by home I mean that I am trying to earn money with my baking skills. I like to bake sweets, but I am mostly starting, the few people that have tried my food say it's very good, some have said that I should do business with my cooking and baking. I can also cook several foods. I am into baking and cooking, I am most probable an intermediate with it. I don't take any classes nor did I get into culinary in my school. I graduated high school that's all and I have been working in jobs that do not pay me to satisfy me so I want to earn some money by well basically being my own boss. I want to fulfill my dream I just need some help on how to start and when? And how can I manage to do so by myself? Do I need to hire people? I want to take it step by step, little by little. I just hope my skills are put to the test and manage to be something of a grand thing. Thanks

You might want to start a blog for your cooking and start sharing some tips, recipes, etc. A YouTube channel would work well too in addition to that, so you can show people how you do certain things. Then market the blog a bit, using one or more of the options (I can help you with that if you want).

Next you need a way to monetize your blog. The way I see it there are basically 4 options:

    1. Sell some of the products you bake. This will work fine at first, might become hard to keep up with if you get a lot of orders.

    2. Promote affiliate products, which are other people's products where you get a commission for sales. 3. Create your own product, a cooking book for example. Recipes, cooking tips, etc.

    4. Advertisement programs like AdSense.

As a marketer I would highly suggest that you start building a list. To do this you need to get an autoresponder. It's a bit complex but basically this means asking people for their name and email address so that you can communicate with them long time, get repeat visitors, repeat sales etc.

I hope I didn't overwhelm you with this all this. If you need any help feel free to ask me.

Ps. Don't expect much (if any) profit for the first 2-3 months, it takes time to build something like this up from scratch.
