Bran New DELL Laptop Problems?
My laptop is a little over a week old, I got it as a graduation present and I just don't want to sound like a ***** and have them take it back for reasons they might think are dumb.
It freezes at least 4 times a day
Yesterday when it froze it deleted all my pictures and documents
For some reason I don't think the space bar works very well because when I type I have to press harder than usual to space out words and I don't want to get into the habit of pressing the key harder and wearing it the hell out
I'm going to college and I can't have it deleting things if it freezes AGAIN

It sounds like you got a bad hard drive right out of the box. It happens. If they got this from a local store there is a chance you can exchange it. If not call Dell and see if they will. The key word to use is I am not happy at all about this being bad right out of the box. Also tell them, if they keep saying no, that you want to escalate the problem. That way you get a call the next day from a more agreeable person. Stay firm and keep insisting that you want them to exchange it since it was bad right out of the box. If worse comes to worse arrange to have it sent in.

Your new Dell has a one year factory warranty and support contact them to locate a close authorized repair center for the key board problem. http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19?c=us&l=e...
As for the freezing it would depend if it is a program or the operating system or the browser that becomes non responding as how to fix it. If you have not created the W8 operating system recovery disc set for your new laptop do so as soon as possible.
