Are all dogs right "handed". I have noticed that my dog always uses his right paw to pull or drag something, are all dogs right "handed"?

There was an article about this on TV recently. It was fascinating, and suggested that if your dog moves off on one front leg more often than the other, then that will tell you whether he's left, or right-handed. Mind you, I checked both of mine and although there was more evidence to show they moved off on their right legs than the left, it wasn't conclusive. Shaking a paw with one leg more than the other might just be because you have sub-consciously taught him to pick up one paw more than the other.

You may not believe me but my dog uses her left paw more.

In fact if a piece of steak is on the left side of her she uses her left paw but if it's on the right she uses her right paw.

No, my first competition Sheltie was definitely left-pawed.
