Just what is the point of people that thumb down every answer on questions?...what do people gain from it?

Tell me about it Venus! Almost every time I ask a question the TD trolls get busy! I think they believe by thumbing down replies they are superior in some way, they must be lacking in their dreary lives in some way.

They gain nothing. They're just people with no lives.

Well...........that's just the way "some people" do things ...........

Sometimes there are many reasons why users do this, for instance: Jealousy, Hate the user, just a reporter troll, someone with no life who spends their time giving users TD's and reporting, they think it's fun, they are immature, maybe they get a TD and give others TD's.

Depending on a persons answer to a question it can be warranted , but there is nothing to gain from it sometimes people do it because they just want to . Doesn't have to be the person asking the question some people just td every answer for kicks .

there is no point,and don't get a thing my friend,so lets just let the dumb play,just like the little kids they are,

As long as it's anonymous and free, it will go on. Really beats me what the point is, still one degree better than reporting a question.

I'm not sure what the point is to ever giving somebody a thumbs-down. isn't everybody entitled to their opinion? I give thumbs-ups even if I don't agree with an answer. I think it's a sign of immaturity, but then we have to remember, there are 10 year olds on here.

They can do it with out reprimand and I guess that makes them feel good.
