First dance song ideas please?

either find just the instrumental version or have someone take that last minute and half of instrumental on their album from that song and loop it to play for however long you want to make your dance. the music from that piece is really very beautiful. it's sort of shame they kind of ruined it with such senseless words.

the song is perfect for a first dance since it is a 3/4 waltz time and very lilting melody.

I had about four song ideas in mind until we took our dance lessons and the instructor vetoed all of them. She brought up the point that you don't want something too slow, people will get bored watching you move slowly. So just be wary of songs that are too slow.

We finally settled on You Got Me by Colbie Caillat, it has a good pace without being too fast.

I used 'Stand By Me' by Ben E King, it's a classic :)
