Is it weird that I don't remember a traumatic event?
I was sexually harnessed a lot when I was in school. It happened many of times but I find it weird that I don't remember the most recent time it happened.I know it was a year ago. I know it happened. I know who touched me. I know the witnesses and where I was but I don't remember what she did to me besides snap my bra or what she said to me but I know it was dirty. I remember trying to fight her off me. And I know I wasn't dreaming because she admitted it to a teacher. So is weird I don't remember all the details?

Not at all! To psychologists this is known as "repression" and happens quite often. This is the brains way of controlling large amounts of stress that could be dangerous to your health. Repression can happen in a lot of way too for instance a woman watched a man get shot but when the cops ask her questions she says she does not remember any of it. Its completely normal.
