1) Yes, because sex linked genes are more likely to affect males than females (because they only get one X chromosome so have a higher chance of getting X-linked genes)
2) 2 (women are XX) one from each parent
3) 1 (men are XY, X from mum, Y from Dad) so gets the X gene from mum
1) Each square in the grid has 2 letters, corresponding to the ones it links to (like a grid on a map) so going left to right:
Mrs: CC, CY, CC, CY Mr: Cc, CY, cc, cY
2) Mother
3) He got the C gene from his mum and the Y from his dad = normal colour vision
4) No it is impossible, as the mum is definitely CC and since the dad is CY the small c gene is not present so cannot be passed on.
