I have a Calculus II question? Help please?
What does it mean converges and diverges? (Sequences)
For example:
{n/(n+1)}[n=0, +inf]
limn->in~n/n=1 I think it means that the sequence goes to 1 ( the last term of the sequence is 1?) { 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, ......1} am I right? what does 1 means?
1 AnswerMathematics7 years agoWhat damages can Lysol do to your brain?
OK I have OCD ( That's why I use it) . Around a month ago, I have using Lysol Vanilla & Blossoms scent frequently. I heard Lysol kills brain cells. I would say I'm pretty intelligent. I'm just 18 years old . I have too much of a life ahead of me to become stupid. I pride myself in being smart, and I don't want to become an idiot because I inhale damn Lysol. Some times, I feel like running in my noise. I feel something weird in my head like if someone is touching my head. I'm really scared that Lysol is killing some neurons. Please I need help like a whole explanation. I'm so scared :*(
2 AnswersMental Health7 years agoIntegral Calculus question (Integration by parts)?
My question is why do we have to solve for ∫f(x)g'(x)dx?
Ok
d/dx[f(x)g(x)]=f'(x)g(x)+f(x)g'(x)
∫[d/dx[f(x)g(x)]]=∫[f'(x)g(x)]+∫[f(x)g'(x)]
f(x)g(x)= ∫[f'(x)g(x)]+∫[f(x)g'(x)] here is my question why do we have to solve for ∫[f(x)g'(x)] instead ∫[f'(x)g(x)]. is it the same thing?

I need help on 2 calculus questions, Volume of A Solid of Revolution?
1. Can you explain the difference between cylindrical shells method and disk method?
I understand that volume is how much an object can hold. Using this idea we apply it on the disk method, πr^2h is the formula for cylinder where r is going to change, so r will be dx then we will integrate it to make r infinity small. But, when we are talking about Shell method (2πrh) is the (surface area)? because we are calculating the outside not the inside . Shouldn't be calculate the surface area instead of volume? if I am correct why do we call it volume?
2. Can you explain the difference between cylindrical shells method rotating about x and y and disk method rotating about x and y?
If it is possible, can you give some links to good videos explaining this?
Thanks

1 AnswerMathematics8 years agoPlease, can you expand this log?
I'm study for a placement test, and I got this answer wrong. Can you explain me why?
log[b]((y^(2))/(xz^(5)))
log[b](y^(2)-log[b](xz^(5))
2log[b](y)-log[b](x)+log[b]z^(5)
2log[b](y)-log[b](x)+5log[b]z. This is my answer.
