Unfortunately Mao did more harm than good in his term as supreme leader. His reforms where too harsh and as for reform, and you didn't tow the line then you where sent of to a farm to do agriculture work and if you where once a standing figure in society this was one hell of a step down the ladder. These events added strain to families and their children where also forced to work on farms. In some cases children where sent to sport training centres to avoid going to work on farms. To be truthful, Mao thought of himself first and his many lovers and he was known to have the shiniest shoes. He was evil as his mentor Stalin and was ruthless to anyone that stood in his way.
