There is a strange guy on my property, should I notify the police?

I am really nervous right now. I am a 14 year old girl and I am home alone right now and there is a guy that knocked on my door and is NOT leaving. He was walking around a little bit and I am scared that he is about to break in. I would call the cops but he really seems like he works for a legit company. He has a uniform and the car in my driveway but he IS NOT leaving. Would the cops be mad if I did call them?! I don't know to wait or to take action. PLEASE HELP.

You could find the number of the police station, and call that #, if you are nervous about calling 9-11. The police won't get mad about calling 911 or the station.

Just keep waiting. If he doesn't leave like in the next 15-20 minutes then I would call the police. He may be planning to break in.
