Why do I hear a crackling noise every time I make a phone call?

So I over hear my dad and my neighbor talking about cameras in all the rooms in my house and I did some research and it said if I hear a crackling noise I make a call or get a call that it's the frequency of the cameras. Is that true then?

    No.

If what you are referring to is crackling heard on a wired phone system,

the most likely cause is loose, oxidized, and/or corroded connections.

In the 1990s, I completely cured a horrible noise problem with my wired phones

by cleaning the terminals in the protector box

and restripping the wires attached to them

    to expose clean, bright copper.

I then securely tightened all of the nuts.

Never had another crackle, scratch, or 'fizzy' sound after that!
