What do you think of this twinset?
Margaret Rose
Virginia Belle
They would go by their nicknames, Maggie and Ginny. What do you think? I know they're a little old-fashioned, so I've tried to balance it out with shorter, prettier middlenames. What do you think? Any other suggestions of pretty middle names?
Thanks!

Margaret and Virginia are classic, lovely, under-used names.
I really like them and the nns are good.
Margaret has more nns than Virginia but that's just a plus for Margaret and takes nothing away from Virginia.
Rose is a filler but works exceptionally well with Margaret which requires a simple middle name for good flow.
Belle is cheesy...is the Virginia bell as well known as the Liberty bell, the bell of freedom?
Yes, a single-syllable middle name works best but not Belle.
Try Virginia Claire, Virginia Tess, Virginia Beth, Virginia Faith, Virginia Grace, or Virginia Paige.

Margaret Rose: Love it! Margaret is strong, elegant, and timeless, and Maggie is a darling nickname. Rose is a common middle name, but because it matches Margaret's timeless, feminine style so well, it's fine here.
Virginia Belle: I don't like this one as much. Virginia is a fine name in itself, but these days the "Virgin" part would almost inevitably lead to teasing. And Belle seems too chopped-off and cutesy to be a name by itself...I only like it as a nickname for Isabelle, Annabelle, etc. Further, Virginia Belle seems too phrase-like, like you're talking about a Southern belle on a Virginia plantation.
I would suggest making Virginia the middle name and picking a different first name. Or if you really like Ginny, what about Ginevra? Ginevra Isabelle, Ginevra Mirabel...
