Why Does Everyone Hate Xbox One?

because people are idiots

i dont know why but people are mad because during the xbox reveal microsft didn't tell us anything new about the gaming other than the specs(which are "almost" the EXACT SAME THING as the ps4's specs. now with this said i want to say that i did not watch the intire ps4 reveal(missed the first 25 minuts) but i did watch most of it, and in the ps4 reveal there was also nothing new to its gaming other then new games(which new games were also revealed during the xbox reveal).

and for some reason people are mad that the xbox reveal focused on the new stuff, like voice control and like you said tv, and being able to swich between your game,music,tv,and bing instantly, which makes NO sense because the ps4 had NOTHING new like this during its reveal. and i dont know why people are getting mad about all of the xbox's new features when they didnt get mad at the ps3 for its new feature of the blue-ray or why they didnt get mad at the ps4 reveal WHEN NOTHING NEW WAS REVEALED lol.

there are a few things that make sense for people to be frustrated about, which i will agree is a bit bullsh*t, so microsft for some reason has decided to make it so in order to play a used/pre-owned game on the xbox one you will have to pay a small fee(but once you pay it you will never have to pay it again for that game). but microsft is getting a lot of hate for this so they might just scratch the idea of doing it.

people are also mad at microsoft because you have to pay a yearly fee of 60$ for online pay, which is stupid considering you had to do it for the 360, and you have to do it for PS4'S online(which for some reason people dint care about and xbox people do lol). but ps4 might scratch this idea because of all the hate xbox is getting for it

and i have to disagree with you on the xbox one controler being better, not that is bad but the ps4 does have a better contoler to a small degree because of the placement of the joy sticks and improved controler shape(compared to the ps3's controler)

i also saw someone post on this page that the xbox one is hatted because it is not backwards compatable, but thats stupid because the ps4 also is not backwards compatable(backwards compatable means it can play games from the 360 or ps3)

lol so do you understand at what im getting at? people are just mad for no real good reason, the ps4 and xbox one are both good, its just that people are hating the xbox one because the reveal didn't focus on new gaming features, and mostly on entertainment, which like i said befor is dumb because the ps4 reveal HAD NOTHING NEW LIKE THE XBOX ONE REVEAL DID(like voice control where you can instaintly swich between tv, music, games, bing, tv and xbox live's apps like youtube,ign,amazon,and about onehundred additional apps) lol.

Xbox One Hate

Probably people were so overwhelmed with the rumors from people wanting to bring the Xbox down (ex. PS Fanboys), and did not do real research and just read up on random people on the internet their new opinion on the xbox was quickly formed as negative.

Basically, imagine this.

1. PS4 Fanboys find out really bad things about the xbox and start posting on how bad it is.

2. Other people want to know what other people think so they go up and search Xbox One online

3. They find out how bad it is as the internet is filled with negative rumors.

4. Their opinion is quickly formed and they start creating new discussions about how they are buying the PS4 instead.

5. Most of the internet is filled with negative rumors, but since they are everywhere people are led to believe them.

People are suddenly led to think that they focused on TV since they did not present the games as much. But thats because its simply an extra feature they wanted to show off that the PS4 doesn't have. The Xbox can do basically whatever the PS4 can and more with these extra features. Just remember that even thought the proccessing power on the PS4 seems a TINY bit better, games are always ported from Xbox to PS so the PS4 will be slower when running games

Xbox wanted to save their real focus for E3, the gaming, they even said so themselves after the event in an interview. The even was only supposed to get people excited, which it did not.

Hi I agree totally with wicked and gabe I've played games 20 years I'll never forgive MS I however hate the console MS can insert their lies their harmful attitude to gaming and indeed the X1 up their backsides. I'm an xbox owner I can't wait to drop Microsoft and return to a proper games console so I'm coming back to Sony forever this time. I'm sorry but I feel totally jaded and cheated they spat in our faces. I don't trust MS to do the right thing so I'm going to make an example of the X1 if it must lose the next console war so be it. If drm gets turned back on xbox is dead it will not survive if you want to keep playing xbox drm must never be restored. The X1 is no question the worst console I've seen in20 years god help you if you buy one. MS can reinstate the drm at anytime with a patch. I would say there is a chance the X1 could fail the first console to fail since the dreamcast. The planning and PR for the X1 has been the worst I've ever seen even worse than dreamcast ( I loved my dreamcast though). Die hards and fanboys are not enough to keep a system afloat. You got hardcore neutrals (me) parents and families all must be catered for as much a possible. Microsoft assaulted consumer rights they disrespected the consumer however we can bring a business down as quickly as we raise them.

why because people are over looking BOTH consoles the xbox one was made to l be the main machine of the household i have yet to check if the PS4 still uses the same OS as the PS3 also you have to pay for online play for all 5 (Wii U, Xbox one, PS4, Xbox 360, and PS3 yes the wii U you can play COD: Ghosts on the wii U) you can in fact play xbox 360 games on a xbox one in a way the xbox one has a output and a input hdmi so you get the point the PS4 was made to be the gamer machine not for watching tv on or skype and what not so you can choose your choice of console PS4, Xbox one, Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, OR the wii.

Because:

1. A lot of <16 yo kids on PS than on XB

2. PS fanboys know Xbox One is more fun so they check all the internet to see if they are wrong. Then they just get pissed they bought and post comments cause maybe another fool comes and gives them the impression that they are right.

My first impression of both was that the PS4 seems to be going more for hardcore gamers and social gamers. Xbox looks like its going more as an entertainment hub for TV and gaming for the family. but to be honest they both will do pretty much the same thing. Its just going to be a matter of what you like the look and feel of! To me I like the xbox for the entertainment aspects like linking your tv and simultaneously searching the web etc. probably because im older and looking for a more practical device. where the playstation looks like its going to use more processing power towards the actual games.

It's because the basic run of the mill ignorant person feels better when they hate someone or something to make them feel better about themselves.

It's really based on people's own personal opinion.

Rule of thumb: Don't follow their opinions if you don't see fit. It's THEIR overview alone, you don't have to agree with them. If you like Xbox One, then so be it. There's not stopping you.

Let me do a scenario: If you like Xbox One and I like say "I think PS4 is better!", that's my own opinion.

Not being any fanboy here, I actually like Xbox One better, because I would assume I would have a harder time with PS Network on PS4 like I did with PS3. That's my own personal opinion. You don't have to agree with me, so that I assume would avoid some argument.

I think the main reason for this is that people think that used games will be removed. However, this is only a rumor as they are processing a patent for the technology to do that, if it doesn't get passed, they won't do it.
