Are Conservatives so distracted by the "scandals" that they are going to lose the House in 2014?

It seems like Republicans/Conservaties are overly focussed on getting the President (which isn't going to happen). I'm not complaining; it's just an observation.

We could argue back and forth and we would neither change our minds but I have to ask why aren't Democrats outraged by what is going on in Obama's White House? The Republicans won't lose the House and they may very well take the Senate...these hearings are just beginning.

Republicans only look "overly focused" because of all the obstruction the Democrats are doing to protect their leader. These aren't distractions. If you don't think we SHOULD focus on serious government abuses like cover-ups, intimidation of the press, and use of the IRS as a political attack dog, you're part of the problem.

They got this crazy idea that the scandals will bleed over to the Congressional elections.

They are not going to get rid of Obama. He won't resign, no reason for him to, and they can't get a conviction on an impeachment. They would need to wind 22 Senate seats in 2014.

But what the public sees, is a vindictive House, and not a thing being done by the Republicans to help the economy. Everything they have been doing is negative.

Maybe. It seems to me that the conservatives need to get their house in order so to speak. The conservatives certainly haven't done anything positive for the ordinary voter and it will be interesting to see how they spin that failure.

Get over it, you poor fool. They are going to gain seats in the House, and Obama is going to be permanently disgraced whether he stays in the White House or not.

I seriously do not think that is going to happen...BUT we shall see. It is not like we will go without a factual answer next year.

I lean liberal. The IRS deal is a real scandal. Let's not defend Obama and the IRS blindly.

Yes, they want to impeach Obama.

They know that the GOP is going to die a slow death over the next decade and to stall that as long as possible.
