Overall the PS4 is much better in terms of gaming and in terms of media I would say they are the same and the PS4 will cost less $349 in fact in rival to the XBOX ones speculated $400-$700.

Depends on wheather you want a glorified TV or a gaming system. Both consoles appear to be as bad as each other but the Xbox looks to be leaning towards an entertainment system, which is great if you live in the USA (as most features will be US specific) but they've hurt a lot of people by announcing you will need full time online and have to pay to play pre owned games. Could work but it feels like they're alienating a lot of people. The ps4 looks like its going to be a solid gaming system, but even they will likely have a few things people won't like. For example no backward compatibility. I'm not a fan of either console, I prefer to like games over consoles, but from what's been released so far the ps4 looks like the only sane option. Even though I'd forfeit them both and stick with a 360 and ps3. Give it a year after they've both been released and don't be the gunnie pig.

you can't answer this answer until both consoles get released but as you can see both would play the same games at the same graphics at the same smooth (as they have very similar specs here) but ps4 will not have any special things other than gaming while xbox will offer a TV,Skype,Voice control and much more so you can say ps4 is a gaming system and xbox one is a gaming system with some extras...

If you're like me and play a **** load of 'used' games then stick with the PS4, in fact just stick with the PS4. Xbox certainly have taken 359 steps back...

None is better at this time. PS4 so far has better hardware specs, but i dont thing you will be able to tell a difference in non exclusive games.

Theres pretty much no real answer to that, the only difference is exclusive games and online services. Psn will have a slightly lackluster online since its free, but will have more exclusives, its all the same
