My African Grey's acting weird?
For the past few days my African Grey's been sitting in one corner of his cage quietly and doing nothing but staring at the window. He sleeps most of the day and just nibbles at his food even though he would normally eat anything and everything i give him. When i ty to play with him he would play along and act normal but once i leave he would go to his corner again. He doesn't utter a sound .Normally he would whistle or song along to music,talk...but that's not happening anymore.I don't live anywhere close to an avian vet and i would really appreciate help.Btw ,he is 41/2 yrs old.
Thank you.

You don't have to take him to an avian vet, Most regular vets will take care of birds also. They will usually prescribe medicine to the sick pet that will come with instructions.

He sounds sick.. I would take him to an avian vet right away. Avian vets are specilized in the care of birds and would know best how to treat him. When birds are sick they decline very quickly, I would take him right away.By the time birds show syptoms they are usually very sick and could pass away if not cared for right away.
