Well in view that you might have already tried to show it on after hanging it in rice and it won't work---it is useless...Apple wont be equipped to help you because it is not covered underneath guarantee on the grounds that it is water damage---and they'll understand...Time to chew the bullet and purchase a brand new one...You could contact them and notice if there are some other methods or tips, but I doubt it motive you already turned it again on...If it happens again---you need to leave it within the rice for a minimum of 48hrs---sincerely the longer the better0---endurance is a virtue in the case of drying out ipods and blackberrys !!

I don't think you understand the meaning of the 90 day return policy. It's meant for returning it in one piece if you don't like the devise. I seriously doubt they would take back an iPod that is already broken and has absolutely no chance of being revived! But, it never hurts to try! Best of luck!

If you bought the warranty for the iPod and it hasn't expired yet then yes they will replace it but they are not responsible for transferring the data to the new one so if you don't have backup (iCloud) then you will lose all your data and btw the 90 day return policy is for if you don't like it not if you like broke it so yeah. Hope I helped!
