Driving help can someone help me?

I would like to just start up my car and go. But no I get lost very often im not sure why this happens do I need to read maps more although I never see anyone reading maps they just start up and go they just know where there going. Should I go on an adventure and just get lost and try to find my way back. I have problems with going to more than one place like the mall and then going across town to the zoo. If anyone has any tips it would be appreciated would like to avoid using gps.

    buy a gps it wll give you directions even if you make extra stops

    Try leaving a trail of bread crumbs so you can find your way from the mall back home to the zoo.

    yeah what the previous person said, buy a gps or a car that has 1 installed
