What do you think of the movie 'The Host'?
I actually loved this movie but ive read a lot of negative comments. I don't see whats wrong with it? What do you guys think?

I think The Host suffered because of all the negative publicity for Twilight. Kristin Stewart received a Razzie for bad acting shortly before The Host was released. Guys, especially, thought the Twihard frenzy was silly--mostly because they never understood or wanted to understand, what young girls like. Therefore, the critics (mostly guys) decided the minute they saw Stephenie Meyer's name on it, that they were not going to like the Host.
I was also disappointed in the lack of publicity for the movie. The weeks before the movie release, no morning or late night show interviews, no stories or covers in popular magazines--nothing but very local appearances. Apparently all the Twihards stayed away in droves because it was not the vampire movie they wanted. Stephenie must be feeling very let down by them.
