is there a special specific fast that can be done before Ramadan?
A friend told me she's fasting tmrw,
and labelled it 'Hazar' or 'Hazari'
It's the first I've heard, but I am keen on participating before Ramadan, to get into the mood for fasting and get a feel for this years seemingly long fasts :/
inshAllah as well as seaping the rewards which is first and foremost !
Anyone have any more info regarding it, it would be beneficial and much appreciated

Salam,
The prophet pbuh used to fast Mondays and Thursdays so that is a great sunnah to follow if capable. I have never heard of that which your friend mentions wallahu a3lam. But it's also recommended when Ramadan gets real close you take a break from fasting since you will have a month of fasting ahead of you and Allah knows best.
Hope that answers the question
