How to perfect my attack?
I get plenty high enough to attack (5'10 but with a 34" vertical) i can attack decently most of the time. Some times i get a really good bounce. But then there are the times where i completely biff it. I always seem to get the ball with my wrist. How can i change this
BQ: I also seem to do this when i jump serve

Hitting with your wrist means one of two things:
1) you were late. Jump sooner and the ball will be higher when you make your arm swing; therefore hitting higher on your hand.
2) hand eye coordination.
To fix this there are some things to try, but remember, nobody is perfect. I've been playing for 12 years at a high level and I still hit it with my wrist on occasion.
1) Leave sooner for the set. Simple as that. Just make sure you stay behind the ball, which can be difficult if you leave too early.
1) start your approach from closer. If you are more than a couple feet behind the 3m line when you start your approach then you've got some room to come in.
1) Ask for a higher set. If the sets are coming in a different heights, this can screw a hitter up. If the set is high it will give you more time to adjust your approach and get there at the right time.
2)Practice, practice, practice
2) Spot the ball with your other hand. Your non-hitting hand should be reaching out in front of you as you leave the ground. Having that hand in the spot that your other hand will be making contact helps a lot. It gives you better depth perception to hit the ball, it also gives you more power as it raises your hitting should and gives your body some rotational momentum.
