Would it be weird to ask him?
There's this guy I like and we've become friends this school year. I want to ask him if he wants to go bike-riding this weekend, just like around town and stuff. The problem is we are both really quiet and awkward people. We've hung out a few other times but usually for anything outside of school we're with a group and it's not as uncomfortable. I'm worried we'll just end up being really awkward and quiet the whole time... so would it be weird to ask? Any advice on how to be more confident talking to him?

Just go for it hey, be yourself. Just stay calm and remember that he is probably nervous too. stop thinking of it as awkward and you'll find that you relax more.
if its too uncomfortable and awkward, you probably aren't meant to be together
