Is the Money In The Bank a curse for the WWE?

I mean we see guys like Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and Jack Swagger win their first titles utilizing cheap motives to get the job done. I miss long title reigns where it took so much to lose a title. Titles just seem to change hands too frequently now. And there is such a lack of emotion for wrestlers who win their first title. I was just watching Chris Benoit win his first and you compare his reaction to Jack Swagger's reaction. What do you guys think? Should the WWE end the Money in the Bank ladder matches?

It cheapens the title. Punk and Edge were the only two, to have won the title using the MITB (and with a cheap run in), who have gone on to become true main eventers and have multiple title reigns.

Daniel Bryan, who truly is one of the best in Pro Wrestlers in the world got screwed over by a terrible gimmick and the MITB.

No curse... just a story device

Punk and Edge are Both 2 time MitB Cash ins... does that make them any less 'champions'

the flaw in your argument is comparing Jack Swagger who was elevated Too early (based on a distorted sense of timing due to WWE doing everything 'in house' with Benoit who at the time was LONG over due for a major Push after a multi-company and Multi-National Career

you might as well compare Great Khali or Ultimate Warrior to Stone Cold or RVD

It's a bad idea in the first place. The only one that really did something with his career with his MITB Contract was Edge, he won it 3 times, once cashed in on Cena, Once on Undertaker, and once he beat Ken Anderson for the briefcase. But I think that they are getting loose, letting people like ziggler win the title.

    It's TV-PG that's a curse for WWE.
