No. We can never get rid of it, forget 2040. Our world, this messed up world that we live in... racism will never, ever disappear. We don't even have the slightest chance of getting rid of it. And you know what the scary thing is? It's not only in our world history.

Think about it: if we scrapped the past, the slavery, the atomic bombs, WW||- people who looked different than us would all still be discriminated, or looked at differently. Let's say you're a Mexican, and you see a black person. You automatically know that they're different from you. And that's trouble in itself. Let's say you're a white person. Then you see an Asian. Well, they look different, don't they? Yes, indeed- and that's also bound to cause trouble.

Racism originates from hate on indifference. We will always be from various and diverse nationalities, so therefore there will always be racism. There's really no escaping it. However, yes, the level of racism may decrease by then.

Doubtful, black people hate white people (at least the men, they love our women) they refer to us as the 'white devil', that whole slavery thing really hit their ego hard and they're not going to let it go any time soon.

Maybe not get rid of but maybe lower the percentage of it.
