Why Doesn't Everyone Hate Google?
What used to be cute is now a monster. Why can't people realize that Google is not only intrusive, with pop-ups even on its gmail site? When I read the exact same article, one on Fire Fox and one on Chrome, the Chrome site article is filled with landmine pop ups for every underlined word. Now they own You Tube and it has gone from a fun, free site, to a site that bombards you with commercials. Why hasn't anyone started a boycott? Just this morning I read that they are allowing access by the NSA to people's private online activities. I don't get it.

Well first of all, the NSA needed to get the permission of the courts to get Google to hand such information over. This is the same as the NSA getting the phone data records from Verizon and potentially other as yet names wireless carriers.
But since they're fishing for...something one can assume they're after AT&T and Sprint as well.
So when it comes down to it...while Google may be annoying, they're not at fault for handing over the information to the NSA which has the power to demand such.
Perhaps we should stop barking up the wrong tree and start barking up the one that has the NSA in the branches?

I know what you mean.
additionally I hate how they merge ("eat") popular websites like youtube. Everyone complains about the youtube ads, but they seem to separate google from their minds when hating on youtube.
I can't completely hate it because (like the rest of this fish think) it's "cool"
people also still like google for their email and google drive which are sooo helpful.
I think google ideally wants people to socialize through google+, while on google chrome, watch videos on youtube, buy from the google play store, have google merchandises, while doing usual web searches through google. Google has way too much power. and there might be some homogenization going on here.

Google is still useful even if it became an evil cooperation that needs to make money to buy everything Disney and Apple haven't purchased yet.

Well, I like google myself because I can get a lot of results from it... but yeah, google does have some pop-ups and it can be annoying
Source(s): Oh, and remember that time where you answered my question about my signs of autism and stuff, well, I don't think u read me correctly.. First of all, I AM autistic and have 90% of the symptoms, I was just saying things from the past that might have something to do with it... If if they didn't, that doesn't mean I don't have it. The things I mentioned didn't have anything to do with my disorder, I was just making sure that it wasn't associated with it.... I'm glad to hear that most of that stuff isn't, I do have the disorder and the list of things u said to me though :P - How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

ITS THE ONLY GOOD SEARCH ENGINE THAT DOSENT SUCK!!!!!! Thats the only thing people use it for anyway. Also, you can make money with youtube now, so anyone who makes videos, with a huge fanbase wouldnt be complaining.

Well the adds are there so they make money i mean were else r they supposed to make their money from and that NSA thing i dont know wut it is but its probably coz of the abuse and mistreatment of the internet such as cyber bullying
