What are the official rules for contestants of America's Got Talent?
Do they get coached on their act? Do they pay their own transportation and lodging? Are they allowed to talk about their experiences? Do they get to see the breakdown of votes by percentage or number of votes?
1 AnswerReality Television7 years agoIs there any significant difference between Clearasil Daily Clear Oil-Free Daily Gel Wash and?
Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Daily Gel Wash?
http://www.clearasil.us/skincare-products/clearasi... $3.82 at Amazon and Walmart
http://www.clearasil.us/skincare-products/clearasi...
$5.25 at Amazon and $6.97 at Walmart; ad says "gives you visibly clearer skin in as little as 12 hours".
The active ingredient in both products is 2% salicylic acid.
Why the big price difference for two products with the same active ingredient? And is it likely that the ultra version works faster, or is that just marketing hype?
BTW I can vouch for the Clearasil Daily Clear Oil-Free Daily Gel Wash; it works great.
2 AnswersOther - Skin & Body8 years agoWhat search terms would you use/where would you look to find out why the books of author Frank Cottrell Boyce?
are listed under C as in Cottrell Boyce, Frank? This puzzles me. I haven't seen this before. The name is not hyphenated and the person is male. It's not just on the books; he is referred to that way in most articles, also. I tried to research it but came up with nothing, only the usual biographies and book reviews, etc. No one seems compelled to explain about his surname. And now I am equally perplexed by the fact that I don't know how to locate this information.
1 AnswerWords & Wordplay8 years agoWhy are books by Frank Cottrell Boyce listed under C for Cottrell?
His name is not hyphenated, but it is treated as such. What is the history of this name? Is Cottrell Boyce the full surname? Why is there a two word surname?
2 AnswersGenealogy8 years agoWhy does John Boehner even want to be Speaker of the House? He gets nothing but flak, and from what I heard...?
he doesn't like to work that hard, anyway; he prefers to hang out on the golf course. So what's in it for him? Prestige? Higher salary? Notoriety? (Will be in the history books.) He has to deal with huge amounts of pressure and no one is ever happy.
3 AnswersGovernment8 years agoWhat motivates someone to commit a brutal crime like this? I'm not interested in judgmental or emotional?
answers. I'm looking for facts, research, thoughtful insight, or first-hand experience. What makes someone *want* to do this, and how are they able to set aside feelings of compassion for others? This guy was previously convicted of raping an 11 yo girl and then attacking three members of her family. Do you think a person like this can be rehabilitated?

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Reuters) - A 24-year-old man has been charged with killing an elderly couple and raping their 2-year-old great-grandchild, in a crime that occurred just hours after he was released from prison in a separate sexual-assault case, state officials said on Tuesday.
Jerry Active was arrested on Saturday by police and has been charged in the murders of Sorn Sreap, 71, and her husband, Touch Chea, 73, and the rape of the toddler they were babysitting that night. Active is also charged with raping Sreap.

1 AnswerPeople with Disabilities8 years agoAs a guy, how do you feel about having to wear a suit and tie for formal occasions/work?
Do you find them terribly confining and hot? I don't understand why men have not rebelled against this societal expectation. I've never worn a suit and tie, but it seems like it would be miserable. Also, there is so little opportunity to express yourself. What are your thoughts?
3 AnswersFashion & Accessories8 years agoIs there any difference between different brands (including store brands) of butter?
In my area, a pound of butter costs between $4.00-$4.50 for Land O Lakes, which is the main brand available. Store-brand butter costs around $2.50. They have the exact same ingredients listed and they are both Grade AA. I don't notice a difference when I use them for cooking, baking or spreading. Is there any reason you know of why I should buy the more expensive butter? Is there any butter that chefs prefer?

2 AnswersSociology8 years agoWhat is "good" chocolate, vanilla, cheese?
When someone writes a recipe and says "be sure to use a good quality chocolate (semi-sweet chips)/vanilla flavoring/cheddar cheese," what do they consider to be good quality, and how are we supposed to know that? I use Nestle, McCormick, and Kraft. And my untrained taste buds are perfectly happy. What brands do you recommend and why?
