what is heat training?

Hi, i want to know the benefits and risk of heat training? I'm considering doing it but i don't know exactly what it is i guess i have the basics of it you can say. so here's the deal i plan on going all natural with my hair and taking good care of it to see if i get any growth now if you are familiar with hair types mine naturally would be a 4c but i am just starting to go back to virgin with my hair so its still not to its original form its kinda wavy from the relaxers and i believe its never going to get back to its natural form and if so its going to take lots of time. so think of my hair at a relaxed 4c no tangles and very manageable the only part that is at the 4c is my roots. so i have some questions about heat training: how often should i do it? have you tried it and did your results come back good or bad? do you have any tips for hair growth that you've tried or heard about? any websites you have to recommend would be helpful even though i prob been on every website there is. stories you have to share that will be helpful any thing at all would be a great help

thank you,

have a blessed day/night :)

Hi I heat train my hair. I use heat weekly (blow out and flat iron) after a while my waves were gone and when I wash my hair it is straight. There is a lady who heat trains her hair and I follow her blog. She used Hydratherma Naturals products and it keeps her hair from falling our with the heat. I use it too and my hair is still strong and healthy. It grew 3 inches. You can check out her blog at www.HealthyHarJourney.com
