Gambling legality in USA.?
Hello. I'm 19 and I live in Illinois where the gambling age is 21. I'm extremely fascinated by the game of poker and desperately want to play. I found a casino in Oklahoma that allows anyone 18+ to play. Would I be in danger of any legal action whatsoever if i chose to cross state lines and play poker here? I wouldn't think so since that is what the casino allows. It appears to be a very nice casino.
Thanks!
I think my question more directly concerns how the federal government feels about such a scenario.

The federal government feels that you should declare your winnings and pay taxes on it. Other then that if you are not crossing state lines to cheat the casino or using it to launder your millions of drug receipts then they wont give a damn.

You would need to pay taxes. Topic 419 - Gambling Income and Losses
The following rules apply to casual gamblers. Gambling winnings are fully taxable and must be reported on your tax return. Gambling income includes, but is not limited to, winnings from lotteries, raffles, horse races, and casinos. It includes cash winnings and also the fair market value of prizes such as cars and trips. For additional information, refer to Publication 525, Taxable and Nontaxable Income .

Nope, whatever happens in another state, stays in that state
For instance, i was 16 living in Minnesota, where you absolutely CANNOT get a tattoo until you 18. So i went to North Dakota and got a tattoo, because the law there was you CAN get minors tattoos, you just need parents permission if you under 18.
