My friend can't go to church?

Disobeying her parents is not breaking the 10 commandments. Oh you didn't know? There were two sets of 10 commandments. The first ones that christians are so familiar with today Moses broke when he came down from Mount Sinai and saw the people of Israel worshiping a golden calf. God promised to make two more stone tablets with the commandments to be just like the first but they are nothing like the first and have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with morality. Exodus 34 The new stone tablets. They don't even condone killing or stealing or slavery ;-)

We ought to obey God rather than man (Acts 5:29). Whenever someone commands you to do something against God's Commandments, you are OBLIGED to disobey whatever the cost. That doesn't mean you are to dishonor them though; it is possible to respectfully disobey someone. So much as it depends on you, live peaceably with one another (Romans 12:18).

The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me (Hebrews 13:6 and Psalm 118:6)?

I suppose until she finds her own transportation, she can always study online with her bible out, taking copious notes. In the mean time, pray for them.
