Ice Hockey - if a player is in the penalty box when a power play or shorthanded goal is scored....t?

Does the player in the box get a +- ?

    Neither as he was not on the ice at the time of the goal. If it's a power play goal, nobody gets a plus or a minus. If it's a shorthanded goal, the team that scored gets a +, the player in the box does not, but the team that got scored on shorthanded gets a -.

    the player in the box never gets anything as he is not even on the ice.

    during a powerplay, no one gets a plus or minus, even if a goal is scored.

    if a tam is shorthanded and they score, the shorthanded team gets plus and the team on the powerplay gets a minus.

    but in neither situation does the player in the box get any plus or minus.
