Couple seals-20 ish. Labor 1.5 hours. So shop rate for your area, plus parts.

Seals are cheap, taking them to get fitted at a dealership is what costs the money. Removing the forks from your bike and taking them in separately will save you a good sum. If you feel experienced enough though, check out the manual for your bike and follow the instructions. Also a good number of videos on YouTube that can help.

I had the fork seals changed on my 2003 Shadow Spirit 750 on 1/21/2012.
129.92 parts
198.00 Labor
30.75 tax and waste fees (California)
358.67 Total

Fork seals are rather cheap and simple to get done, I do recommend getting it done by a professional though, that way you know its done right and it wont be off the road as long as it would be if you do it yourself.

easy job but you do need the tool to put them in! [easy to make the tool with a large socket though!] Or expect to pay about 300 dollars parts and labor

You do it yourself with a kit, repair manual, advice from an owners forum and some new fluid. Failure to do so will result in the mandatory surrender of your man card and forfeiture of your bike. Don't be a Nancy. Get busy!
