1 AnswerMotorcycles8 years agoAm I the only one who HATES working on his own bikes?
I can not pay anyone to work on anything I built and have the skills and tools to wrench on [that would be either crazy or lazy] But I hate to fix my own stuff! It isnt saving me money My labor is money! I like to build them them and I only like turning wrenches for CASH! Thats my Saturday morning rant cause my 71 CB 750 blew a head gasket. [common with these bikes!] Fix it tomorrow!

Im wondering if it has any advantage [besides looking cool!] I see pics but no real specs [like weight] I see the Dodge Tomahawk is [was] hubless and I have seen a sport bike with a hubless variation. Billy creates some wild stuff I think pure genious [for choppers] I just wonder how it works and how practical it is?
4 AnswersMotorcycles8 years agoany thoughts on Polaris and the new Indian Chief?
personally after all the attempts to bring back Indian I think they should just let it die already. I do however really like the Kiwi Indian as it is a very good copy of the original and for those of us not able to get a 1951 Chief close enough!

7 AnswersMotorcycles8 years agoanybody know about the past liquid cooled knucklehead and shovelhead motors?
in 1947 the DRAKE liquid cooled knucklehead motor was used in several race cars and in the late 80s the BDAC liquid cooled shovelhead was drag racing. I wonder why HD never bought and used the idea? If a couple of backyard garage guys could do it then it did not require millions of dollars to tool and produce!
