Click on their avatar and click send PM or send email. A lot of accounts are set to private so there is no contact option.
btw, depending on what browser and OS you are using, you may have to click on "reply to this message" to continue a conversation. I don't know why but on my computer if I click the "reply" button the email gets bounced.
