Can a dna test tell whether you are male or female?

With a cheek swab paternity DNA test can it tell if you are male or female?

Update:

Can you trust those at home tests? What if the mother swabbed her cheek and tried to pass it off as the father? I've heard of that happening before.

    I don't know about cheek swab specifically but DNA yes. Because it is in your DNA there are chromosomes that definitely indicate your sex. (remember XY or XX?)

    pretty much, yeah. the document will say % of chance of being the father of the female or male child.
