NSA Leaker and country skipper Ed Snowden...Hero whistle blower or law breaking scumbag?
..Not a hero whistleblower in my eyes..not at all!
I think it pains some Republicans to admit they side with the current administration on this one (and some Dems too)
A whistle blower exposes wrong or criminal activity within an organization...like it or not...The Patriot Act is LAW, so he broke his own clearance level agreement --he is a LAW BREAKER!
..and I am a left leaning independent

He left the country with secrets and I bet money he took them to the enemy
So Snowden stole info, was taught how to collect it in 3 months and basically runs to China?
No one knows where Snowden is except those that paid him

I am currently one the fence on this one: one one hand, I appreciate actual proof of what we already knew (do you think a new NSA cell phone listening station in Utah is not going to be used?) that removes me from the list as a conspiracy theorist and into the soothsayer realm but, two, legally speaking he did sign a non-disclosure agreement. His only defense is that this act is so egregious that a court would pardon him and/or he sought help through whatever chain-of-command in place. there is also a question of what his motives are.

He's neither a hero nor a scumbag. He's merely a guy who wanted to open the public's eyes to the shady doings of the government (not like we didn't already know it). So he is a law-breaking whistle blower.

Answer me how someone can be a "scum" bag for informing the American public that their government is breaking the law, trampling the constitution, and eating away at their civil liberties?

Nice rant. He did not divulge or expose information. All he exposed was
the procedure of what was being done. Not one word of text or data. Can
you not see the difference.

He is merely warning the american people of their Govt. breaking the law as for revealing any top secrets post just one example before you condemn him
