Do you like this poem?

Hi, Please give your opinions and criticisms and say how it relates to you or whatever you want. I wrote it when I was 15, thanks.

She sits there

Weeping

Swallowed by her chair

She sits there

Lost

Her husband just gone

Her daughter; frustrated

She doesn't understand

She doesn't understand

No one understands.

From living in sin

To living alone

God is her only company

She's forever alone

She sits there

Weeping, Lost and Alone

Her husband just gone

Never to come home

I read it thrice! The first time I'm like clearly it's sad. The second time I thought she repeats everything too much and there isn't enough to this poem. The third time I decided: It's good as is. Ok sure, let's be honest, the layout isn't fantastic and there is so much more you could have done, but that's not the point of this piece. If the reader takes the time to seriously take in what has happened - it does not matter how the words were written as long as the meaning was there. I felt the speaker's pain and that's all I needed. Good job.
