Is the media different in other countries?

For example the American media has a lot of sex and violence as well as a lot of partying. Do other countries have these kinds of topics? Also do underage minors watch films that are strictly for adults in those countries?

America media has a lot of sex and partying? Please point out those media stations to me because I don't see them. On the contrary, compared to countries like Holland and Germany, we are quite conservative in our media reporting and tv shows in general.

I agree with you that a lot of violence is shown, but that's only because there's a lot of violence to begin with in our society. That however isn't much different elsewhere in the world.

Finally, "underage minors" is not a correct term. Minors are underage per definition. No need to use the term "wet water" either. Minors watch films for adults all over the world. No big deal because if they don't watch it on tv, they can easily watch it on the internet.

    Of course it is.

Different cultures and societies have different standards.

Some are more tolerant (more nudity & swearing) while others ban such things completely.

No countries let underage minors go watch restricted movies.

That being said, parents worldwide will let their kids get away with watching shows and movies that are only meant for adults.

(Poor supervision = poor parenting. And that's sad. But some parents simply don't know any better to do any better.)

Even the news is different in other nations.

For example, Canada has truth-in-journalism laws the prohibit news media from broadcasting false or misleading information.

The US has no such laws to protect the US public and ensure it gets only accurate information.
