Is anything wrong in my cheque?
I deposited an outstation cheque drawn from Citi Bank in New delhi to my SBI branch in Gorakhpur on Friday 7th June early in morning. Till now it is not even showing in ny uncleared balance on SBI net banking. Previous times it showed atleast in uncleared balance on same day.
Is there anything wrong with this? How long do I need to wait before I finally get credited?

Are you aware with new cheque system in India? After 30 March, No older cheque will be credit on any account. If you are using old cheque book, it can't. You need new cheque that launch after 30 March 2013.
May be deposit old cheque previouly(before 30 Mar 2013). So check that it is new or old. If it is new, contact SBI customer care for any clarification.

Nothing is wrong with your cheque, actually your cheque is an outstation cheque, from Delhi state to UP state that's why it is taking time, wait for at least 1 week more or Call SBI customer care toll free number 1800112211 for you cheque enquiry.
