How can I hook up with a band member after a concert?
I just want to say that I know I'll be called a slut but I only want to hook up with Austin Carlile (lead singer of Of Mice & Men) and I really don't know how to approach him and what to say. I was thinking about going up to him when he is signing but I have no idea what to say! A bunch of people said I'm attractive enough to hook up with him, ill put a link to a picture of me. Anyways, I know it's kind of slutty but I really want to and I'm 18 but I'll be 19 when he comes to Warped Tour next year which is when I planned to hook up with him. I really, really want to do this I just have NO idea what to say! Any advice would be great thank you guys soooooo much! (Please don't just leave an answer that I shouldn't because I know I will try I just really need help on how to be flirty with him and get him to want me)

my only idea is just to act like he's a normal person. don't act like a crazily obsessed fan because i don't think he would want to hook up with that xD
that would just be so awesome if you did omg
(i love OM&M ahah)
good luck man

Natural progression of all bands, you will go through this over and over if you stick with it. Young kids rock the scene as a band, then come girl friends and day jobs and getting tired of the travel and the hassle. Band breaks up. Musicians who still want to play find/form another band. They break up etc. The only bright spot is that if you stick with it long enough you'll find a scene of serious musicians who want to make music. Look beyond your band to your music scene. Watch other bands and talk to them after the gigs. Get to know who is around. Sit in with them, help them out when they need a hand, make their gigs succeed. Pretty soon you'll be a member of a couple of different local bands playing gigs several nights a week. Pretty soon the ones that click will form their own band and chances are they will be serious regional rockers. Look at it as a weeding out process. Then when you are really on top of it, the drummer will knock up his old lady and you start all over, only now you're 35 (or 45 or 55) instead of 18, and you'll be an adult still doing those teenage part time day jobs to keep the band going, and you'll be sick driving your unreliable broke-down van 300 miles for the weekend gigs that somehow always get booked in high crime zones where half your equipment disappears every time you load and unload, and you'd just once like to meet a girl who isn't a psycho-chick or a junkie even if it means she will demand a ring and a house from you... Yeah, sooner or later you'll be the guy that breaks up the band. You'll pull the ripcord to the real world sooner or later. I don't know, I suppose it's a great life, if you are talented, independently wealthy, and will never grow old. I suppose if you stick close to home and work to build a vibrant music scene you could have a good 20 or so years before you are forced to become a grownup and get a life. If you're willing to give up a normal life and love the road, you could probably do it 'til you die, like a lot of the old blues men do. But you'd have to realize you do it for the music, if you think there is money, or you want to be a star, then just get a real job now. Good luck.

stay cool, be smart. find a way that you can meet him not when he's surrounded by fans. but don't act too cool and pretend that you had never heard his songs or sth. don't lie. be yourself, but a little cooler
