so just a little back story about me, I dated a boy for 4 years (age 13-17) and he would cheat on me all the time and had a whole different relationship but I loved him so much I couldn't break up with him. finally after our 4 year, I met another guy who showed me I didn't need to be treated as badly as my boyfriend was treating me. so we broke up and I started dating this new guy right after. now we've been dating for over a year and a half (I'm 19 now) and I just feel like we don't have the same type of love me and my last boyfriend had. this guy is so sweet and he has such a big heart but he doesn't do the boyfriend things like sharing food (he got mad I ate his ice cream one night) and we never go out and do anything now, all he does is smoke and play video games. he doesn't go to school or anything (although he is going to go) but I just don't know what to do because I do love him, but I know I'm not going to marry him and that's the biggest sign to me that we need to break up. I tried to do it last week and we went on a break but he told me he'd change and stuff so I said I'll give it another try. now I'm still in this position where I don't think we should be together and I feel so bad because he's so great and I just feel so mean. I really hate hurting people, especially people I love :( any advice wild be appreciated. thank you

I have an interview for a restaurant tomorrow (Buffalo Wild Wings) and I am worried because I have a lot of pink in my hair and I also have my monroe pierced. Everybody tells me they love my hair and piercing though, I am just worried they won't want to hire me. It is so hard to get a job and I just got a car and need to pay for gas. (I just turned 18). Any advice?

I am on the pill but I just started (I'm on pill 19) so I don't know if it's working yet. I think I should take the morning after pill but I'm not sure if that will mess up my system or something. It is also a week before my period starts so I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating. But I heard pre-ejaculations doesn't have sperm in it unless there is sperm left over from his last ejaculation. But he hasn't ejaculated for 3 days and has obviously urinated a lot since then but I am still worried because I am ovulating.

I thought i would want this color until I decided to go back to my natural color (black) but i now want to dye it bright, fire-truck red. I did a test strand over the pink and it came out like a fuchsia color, not the bright red i wanted. I only left that dye in for about an hour (I use ion color brilliance brights). Is there a way I can get the pink out of my hair that wont damage my hair that much? I tried bleaching it before but it doesnt come out all the way. Or should I just try leaving in the dye for a few hours?

I just got the iPhone 5c (same as the 5 basically) and when I have wifi I really do enjoy having iMessage (although I don't understand what is so different about it). I am really upset because when I go out and do not have wifi and i do not want to use my data (i only have 2 GB) for iMessage it does not run because i don't use my data which isnt a big deal but I cant receive texts from people who are using iMessage, only people that have normal texting. When I first got the phone (yesterday morning) it let me text people with imessage but without me having it but now i cant. im really upset because im out a lot and have no way to get in contact with people (almost all of the people i talk to have imessage) besides calling, which im 17 so i dont call that many people, its usually by text. i just really need help figuring this out its like stressing me out lol.

During March I dyed my hair pink and mostly everyone at my school loved it. This year I am going into 11th grade and I applied and got accepted to a different school. My boyfriend and best friend go there and they loveee my pink hair but I am scared to go to a new school and get made fun of for it. I naturally have black hair and I am thinking about dying it back to black before the school starts, but if I do that I can't dye my hair back to pink for at least a year. The only problem is when I had black hair my self esteem was really low and now that I have pink hair I feel like I look prettier, but if people insult me at this school I'm scared it will get low again.

I'm going into 11th grade and I got accepted into a school that has uniforms. I don't know where to find nice, fitting white button down shirts and all black shoes (even the soles have to be black). I don't have a lot of money to spend, only about $200 which is not enough where I live because everything is so expensive and I also have to buy khakis and school supplies. any advice on where to get these things? thank you!

Two days ago I put my dog Max down. I have had him since I was three (he was also three when I got him) and I am almost 17 now. I feel like I did the wrong thing though because he was happy. He was genuinely happy to be with our family. He was always smiling and barking when he wanted attention. The only problems he had was arthritis. Max had it in his hips so he could no longer go outside and play with us. He also would soil himself by laying down and just going to the bathroom. He tried to get up but the last two weeks he could barely stand for 5 seconds. When he would eat and drink he had to lay down and do it. I spent the last two weeks sleeping downstairs with him so I could help him if he fell. Another problem was that he would eat and drink a lot, but he kept losing weight. I could feel his spine and ribs which I never could when I was growing up. So my dad decided we had to put him down but I feel like we did the wrong thing because he was so happy. He loved being with us. I am scared that he didn't want to go like this. He was hanging on for us and I don't want him to think we gave up on him just because he was peeing on the floor and stuff. I feel awful. I also feel like I didn't spend enough time with him. The last 3 years is when I got a boyfriend and started going out a lot so I stopped giving him a lot of attention. I'd pet him for a minute every day but I never actually spent time with him. Even when I was home I'd sit in my room and watch movies and I hate myself so much for not giving him a lot of attention because he loved to be loved. I just want to accept his death and know it was the right thing to do but I can't because me and even my mom feel like we did the wrong thing. When I had my chinchilla, she only lived until she was 5. I had to put her down because she had a gum disease that caused her not to eat so if I didn't put her to sleep she would have starved to death. When she died, I was sad but I accepted it because I knew it was the right thing to do. But with Max, I don't feel like it was right. Could it be because I keep thinking about the things he did when he was younger like going outside and playing fetch and sleeping upstairs with us? I stop thinking about how he slid down the stairs once his hips got bad and him falling down the porch stairs to go to the bathroom outside and falling in the kitchen and whatnot. I just don't know what to think. I feel bad about this whole thing and I don't know how to accept it. Any advice?

Also my cat has been sleeping in my room which he hasn't done for 7 years and he wont come out of his hiding space anymore. Could he be depressed about it? Should I be worried about him?
