Is Jesus Christ the Son of God or the Physical Form of God?

Yeah I know there have been times when Jesus referred to God as His Father but it is believed or something that the coming of Christ was "God becoming man" or something. And it's also said by one person I know of so far that Jesus created everything.

So, is Jesus Christ the Son of God, or the Physical Form of God?

And please spare me answers of "God doesn't exist," or "There was no Jesus." This question is for believers only to answer. If you believe anything else, don't answer this.

The scriptures repeat over and over that He is the Son of God. It is Peter that first gets it.

Matt 1616 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

So the question is why the confusion? Theology is not always based on revelation. It often tries to fit the scripture into the results desired. Since the Roman Emperor wanted a system that fit his needs, the church of that day came up with one.

Jesus says certain things about himself. He is the I AM. Before Abraham and Jacob he was. That sounds like Jehovah. Indeed it is. Jesus was Jehovah before receiving a body. That means that Heavenly Father is not Jehovah. The Hebrew calls Him Elohim. So Jehovah did take on physical form, but was also the Son. Read the Scriptures with this picture and you will receive your own revelation.

Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus never mentioned that He was God. He did say that He and the Father are One, but then He also went on to say that He and His disciples were one, like He and the Father. Which means they were all One, unified in reaching God's goals, so One in purpose, not one being.

The Bible also states that when a man gets married, He must leave his parents, and he and his wife must become one flesh....would this mean that they now become one person? Or would it simply mean they are one in purpose? Well of course the latter. The same with Jesus and Jehovah God, they are separate but work together as one to achieve God's purpose. Jehovah God is the Father, and Jesus is His Son...read 1 Corinthians 11:3 .. it clarifies what I have said

God stepped into the physical in the form of man. This makes Jesus God in flesh. God brought Jesus into the physical through Mary. This @makes Jesus His Son. So, Jesus is both Son of God, and God.

Jesus referred to himself as “God’s Son” or “the Son of God.” (John 10:36; 11:4) Jesus never identified himself as Almighty God.

Moreover, Jesus prayed to God. (Matthew 26:39) And while teaching his followers how to pray, Jesus said: “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.”—Matthew 6:9.

Jesus revealed God’s name when he quoted an ancient passage of Scripture and said: “Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah.”—Mark 12:29; Deuteronomy 6:4.

Both. God is expressed in three distinct personalities with specific roles, yet unified as "one."

(John 1:1-3) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

(verse 14) The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

(verse 18) No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

So then, Jesus is God and is also God's Son. He also came as the visible representation of God to the world.

He is the Son of God. They are two beings. Yes he created all things under the direction of his Father. He has his own body and so does his Father.

    Both

God is One - we will not fully understand the Trinity this side of Eternity because of limited revelation on this aspect of God. However, we understand the Trinity to be three persons but one substance consisting of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
