Intimidation? Your thoughts?

Question

Is the government intimidating  those who question thier policy's or motives with the release of nsa program details, attorney general wire taps and irs audits? They thought Snowden was acting irrationally, did they allow the leak to intimidate whistle blowers and right wing antagonists?  Or is this giving them to much credit. Speak out or rat out and get hacked, tracked and audited. Ohh and remember,  they are recording everything you type in response.

If I were afraid of the government, I would insist that I am not afraid of the government.

I would fear what they might do to me for spreading fear of the government.

the only differences between then and now
the Government have more digital technology

and if you believe only the US government does that

even the Swiss Government spy on their own citizens

A couple weeks ago Obama declared that he would direct the justice department to prosecute those who disparage or insult Islam on social media sites and nobody seemed to bat an eye. Obviously Americans don't give a damn about their rights anymore.

Obama overestimates his ability to scare the American public. he is going to get his azz in a lot of trouble messing with the freedoms of the people. his legacy is already destroyed he is a failed POTUS.
