Does this scenario sound creepy to you?
Hi! So I'm a 17 year old girl, and I work at a fast food restauarant. One of my coworkers who is around 25 is a fry cook and he only speaks Spanish, and I'm almost fluent myself, so we talk a lot. In fact the whole staff is hispanic, I'm the only white person, but for the sake of not making me feel uncomfortable we all speak spanish to each other. Anyway, my manager told me that he (the fry cook) wanted to take me on a date to the movies, and he was trying to get me to answer. The whole staff knows about this (I overheard a conversation), and they don't think it's weird at all. He hasn't asked me out himself though, and I think maybe he was trying to get my manager to do it for him? I was just wondering if this was creepy, because the whole staff doesn't think so, and if I should go on this one date with him?

Personally, I wouldn't go for it! The age diff is a little much right now, and it is a bit of an odd scene! The whole staff knowing...I think its better you get approached by a confident man.
I would wait until you finish high school. Promise you, I changed drastically from leaving high school alone. Dating a 25 year old is already a heavy weight for a girl my age (I'm in early 20s) so 17 is young. And it doesn't sound like a good scene anyway.

In my opinion it is creepy. He's 25 and you are 17. Even if you were 18 it would be weird. He's 25 and can't confront you himself? That's weird, too. He probably wants to get your reaction to the age difference before he actually asks you out.
The male staff obviously wouldn't think it to be weird. If the female staff REALLY doesn't think it's weird, it's probably because they like him (in a platonic way). Seriously, that's a big age difference when you're that young. Accept it or not, and my source is straight from a man because I had this same issue with a guy who was 10 years older than me, there is only one reason a guy dates a much younger woman.

It does sound rather intimidating because they all want you to agree to go on a date with him. If you feel uncomfortable then say you don't like to date people you work with.

Going on a date with someone under 18 is NOT illegal. If you two end up having sex then that's illegal and he will be sent to jail.

That's a little weird for him not ask you himself but I guess he is shy. Don't lead him on, just don't go if you don't want to.
