Car Insurance pricing question?

I'm trying to understand how the insurance for each of our cars gets chosen.

We have a 2007 gmc yukon XL (biggest of the 3), a 97 mercury grand marquis LS, and a 2001 gmc Sierra (pickup).

Of these 3, the grand marquis is the most expensive, then sierra, and the cheapest insurance belongs to the yukon.

Just trying to figure out how this works...

You are very confused about insurance. EACH vehicle must be insured, You must have 3 separate policies. One for each vehicle. You can't combine vehicles on one policy. The insurance on one of your vehicles has nothing to do with insurance on the other vehicles.

Have you thought about asking your insurance agent to explain this to you? Don't you agree that it would be an excellent way to get educated on insurance 101?
