With other animals it's possible to take something like the length of a footprint or a certain bone and guess how big or tall that particular animal is. Can you do the same with something like a spider bite?

I'm trying to understand how the insurance for each of our cars gets chosen.

We have a 2007 gmc yukon XL (biggest of the 3), a 97 mercury grand marquis LS, and a 2001 gmc Sierra (pickup).

Of these 3, the grand marquis is the most expensive, then sierra, and the cheapest insurance belongs to the yukon.

Just trying to figure out how this works...

Would something like this also apply to analyzing out why you (yourself) do the things that you do, say the things that you say, etc. etc.? Is there some type of line that would cross?

But if possible, would it even be practical?

This is not so much for mental illness but more for stuff like "why do I feel the need to pay attention to word choice?" or "why do I procrastinate when I know things are on the line?"

Okay I've been looking at some videos on some songs i want to learn: michael,michael, michael by don ross, airtap by erik mongrain, and spiritual groove by antoine dufour.

Specifically in the first song (michael, michael, michael), a video on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkidVP0AcQ8) shows him playing it.

When you get a look at his right hand, you can see that pretty much all his fingers have long nails.

Aside from the adequate skill/ practice needed to play the song, are the long nails neccessary? Can the song still be played accurately w/o them? Are there ways around having to grow out your nails?

There's this song by a German band (Alin Coen Band) called "Das Letze Lied"

I can't find the chords anywhere. Plus I really want the tab so I can learn to play the intro of the song (as well as the majority of the song)

That fact that she is a German singer doesn't help.

so my first quarter in college i decided that i was going to take Japanese. However recently i've started wanting to want to learn German. Would trying to take both at the same time be more than humanly possible? Would i have to choose? Or could i pull off learning both?

but when i google it, slavic mythology comes up? is it the same thing? Where can I find russian mythology if slavic isn't what I'm looking for?

My friend wanted to borrow my portable harddrive so he could watch videos on his xbox. sure no prob. according to him he never unplugged it or moved it. didnt have any problems. about a week ago he decides to move his xbox to a different spot in his house. goes through the whole "unplug everything" process and what not(also unplugs my HDD). he sets it all back up and plugs my harddrive back in. "No video formats found". "Weird" he says. he unplugs it and hooks it up to his laptop. I had named my drive so that what he was looking for. instead he gets "Removable disk f or whatever" and finds my 300 gigs of random stuff....wait for it....GONE! clean as a whistle!

does someone want to tell me what the F happened?

my computer kinda lags when I boot it up. I go to disk clean-up and let do its thing. majority of the garbage is debug dump files and system error memory dump files. it usually comes out to 250mb. so i click ok and let it delete the files. but out of curiousity i ran it again and the thing came out to 240mb! like right after! why is this happening and how can i get rid of it?

Fantasy theme. starts in this castle with some lady I think trying to kill someone. She's under a spell that is broken when she's put in front of the mirror and its broken. Its all due to this wizard/warlock dude who lives on an island. The king of the castle sends this hero to retrieve a princess that was either kidnapped or gets kidnapped on their voyage to the island. Once she's kidnapped, she also gets put under the spell. On their voyage there, i remember a small ship with like a pirate(not sure). This guy had either a leprechan or a genie in this jar(This I'm sure about). whomever was in the jar, helped them. They eventaully get to the island, get captured, put in cages in this like dining hall. they notice a mirror and lure the seduced princess in front of it. They are still in cages but throw something and break the spell. At one point they are I wanna say the pirate had a monkey but im not too sure...

I'm looking for 2 movies I watched a hecka long time ago. I don't remember their names so that's why I ask.

First One: I'm like 90% sure its black and white. Its an old alien movie where the monster looks like a carrot. it resided in a cave and had this like tiny pterodactyls that it sent out. these pterodactyls hit people in the back of the neck but left like a barb. Then those who got hit became the alien's servants...kinda. Like nicole kidman "The Invasion" zombies...

I plan to major in Biology(microbio,etc, etc) to become a parasitologist(study parasites)/infectious diesease specialist.

What im not too sure about is which of these two would be better for what im trying to accomplish...

I plan to have a more medical specialization rather lab...

I was looking at a college in San Fran but i hated the atmosphere. Berkeley is close so im not sure if the environment is the same. But I did like Stanford's atmosphere. I want to know how it feels like at these colleges(unfortunately deadline is tomorrow so i have no time...)

ok. so im bored. in order to keep myself busy, i want to learn new songs on my guitar. But i'm kinda limited in my song "database"...

I'm using an acoustic song i would prefer songs that use one but if there are some songs you find "must learn", please swing them my way. Just not I'm Yours by Jason Mraz or Billionaire. Everyone else who has a guitar knows those songs...T.T...it gets annoying...
